TEATRO A L’AVOGARIA

Dorsoduro 1617
30123 Venezia

Teatro A L'Avogaria is one of the most characteristic independent theaters in Venice.

A picturesque gem in the heart of the historic city, it was founded in 1969 by Giovanni Poli.

This theater is also famous abroad for its numerous international events. Its role is important for traditional Venetian performances, particularly the Commedia dell'Arte.

Teatro A L'Avogaria is located in the historic center of Venice, in the Dorsoduro district, just a short walk from Campo Santa Margherita, the Zattere, or the Accademia. The theater is accessed from Calle dell'Avogaria, next to the Church of San Sebastiano, a 16th-century architectural jewel entirely decorated with paintings by Paolo Veronese.

Teatro A L'Avogaria is easily reachable on foot from Piazzale Roma (10 minutes) or Santa Lucia Station (15 minutes), or by public water transport with the San Basilio stop just 200 meters away. The historic center of Venice is 20 minutes from Venice Marco Polo Airport and 40 minutes from Treviso Canova Airport.

Immerse yourself in the style of Paris’s Crazy Horse with the Festival headliner on stage at Teatro A L'Avogaria

The Crazy Horse is undoubtedly the most famous Parisian cabaret for its sensuality and iconic style. You could say the dancers are dressed in lights. The choreographic aesthetic is very distinctive, the hip movements are provocative, and the connection with the audience is seductive. Join the fun and Betty Crispy will show you how to become Totally Crazy.

Dress code: sexy clothes, bra, fishnet stockings, panties, and high heels.

    Betty Crispy’s Biography:

Betty Crispy studied ballet and jazz from a young age. In the past, Betty almost gave up dancing. She had practiced ballet and jazz since childhood, but as an adult her career seemed to be heading in a different direction. That was until she decided to take a chance and audition for a dancer role in one of the biggest cabarets in France, L’Ange Bleu. Betty was accepted into the cast and soon found herself taking on roles as a dancer, magician’s assistant, singer, host, and choreographer.

She would then travel the world for 10 years with a major French company, and today she continues to travel solo, sharing her love for dance through teaching and performances.

In 2016, Betty founded the ABC Académie Burlesco Cabaret and today she continues to bring joy and authentic French cabaret wherever she goes.
